Today’s class is for anyone interested in sourdough at home. We will tell you the TRUTH about making sourdoughs and guess what? You do NOT need to be a slave to a starter (we show you how to put that baby to bed for months at a time) you do NOT need to be a chemist (we share full proof and easy starter options for you) and you WILL be a master at the healthiest bread you can find. This base tart dough is one you will make again and again and is actually delicious as a cookie too – we do both. Our homemade lime curd makes a perfect no bake filling – simply chill overnight – we show you the tricks. Take your beautiful tart and cookies home to share – snack on Chef Andrea’s handiwork during class.
